Exhibitions Highlights Tour

The tour moves through two exhibitions on view at Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts. Miatta Kawinzi: An Alphabet of Unfolding spans mixed-media works, sculpture, video, and text, with themes of hybridity, memory, cultural lineage, ecological connection, and adaptation. MOTHER TIME: Measuring ourselves within the landscape brings together photographers Rachel Cox and Rose Marie Cromwell in a dialogue about closeness, intimacy, memory, care, and the relationship between personal experience and wider landscapes.
