About
Mammoth - The End Tour brings Mammoth to The Astro Theater in La Vista, just outside Omaha, with Big Wreck also on the bill. The show pairs Wolfgang Van Halen’s hook-driven rock project with the Toronto band fronted by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Ian Thornley.
Who's playing
Mammoth is led by Wolfgang Van Halen, a Grammy-nominated songwriter, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer whose project is built around heavy rock musicianship and large-scale hooks. Big Wreck adds a second rock name to the lineup, led by Ian Thornley and known for its debut album In Loving Memory Of… and songs including “That Song,” “Blown Wide Open,” and “The Oaf.”
What to expect
Expect an alternative-rock-focused night at The Astro Theater, with Mammoth headlining The End Tour and Big Wreck bringing a catalog rooted in hard rock, pop-rock, and progressive-leaning guitar work. For Omaha-area rock fans, the pairing offers a modern Mammoth set alongside a veteran band with a deep following.
