OMA ARTalks: Auction Edition
Thursday, October 15 at Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, Omaha
About this event
Explore the Benefit Art Auction Exhibition from the perspective of participating artists.
What to expect
This ARTalks program is built around the Benefit Art Auction Exhibition, Bemis Center’s annual presentation of more than 300 contemporary artworks by more than 200 local, regional, and national artists. The exhibition spans all four Bemis galleries and includes painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and more, giving the conversation a wide range of work to draw from.
Why go
Rather than viewing the auction exhibition on your own, OMA ARTalks: Auction Edition offers artist-led perspective on what is on view. It is a chance to hear how participating artists look closely at the exhibition, what they notice in other artists’ work, and which pieces they think deserve extra attention.
