Pack your lawn chair, picnic blanket and iced drinks to join Opera Omaha’s annual kick-off to the 2026-2027 Season with the return of Opera Outdoors. This free, family-friendly opera concert for the community will be held at Stinson Park and include highlights of the coming season and some of opera’s greatest hits.

Who's playing
Opera Omaha presents Opera Outdoors with a cast of featured soloists, including Johnathan McCullough, Elizabeth Sutphen, Joshua Blue and Samantha Schmitz. The production team includes music director Josh Quinn, director Kaley Karis Smith and lighting designer Aaron Craig.
What to expect
This is an outdoor opera concert at Stinson Park in Aksarben Village, built as an easygoing introduction to Opera Omaha’s season. Expect a mix of well-known opera selections, previews of the coming season and a community-centered park setting, with the event hosted in English and Spanish.
