Pumpkins with a Purpose

Families can explore a not-so-scary seasonal setup that includes Cobweb Castle, a Halloween exhibit with a castle maze, black-light play and spooky-but-gentle surprises. The event also features trick-or-treat candy stations, character meet-and-greets, a DJ Monster Mash dance party, a Halloween science show, a magic show, carriage rides, and a pumpkin patch where kids can choose and decorate a pumpkin. This is a fall outing built for kids who want Halloween atmosphere without heavy scares, with activities spread across Omaha Children’s Museum rather than centered on a single performance. It also gives the outing a purpose beyond the day’s fun: tickets help support museum programs that expand play and learning access for families across Nebraska and Western Iowa. (ocm.org)
