About

Oddities & Curiosities Expo - 2026 brings the traveling showcase for lovers of the strange, unusual, and bizarre to CHI Health Center Omaha in Omaha. The expo features hand-selected vendors, dealers, artists, and small businesses offering everything from taxidermy and preserved specimens to original artwork, antiques, handcrafted oddities, creepy clothing, odd jewelry, bones, and funeral collectibles. Alongside the vendor floor, the event also includes sideshow performers and taxidermy-focused classes tied to the expo.

What to expect
Expect a curated market built around the weird and macabre, with vendors offering legal-to-own, sustainably sourced oddities across categories like taxidermy, preserved specimens, horror- and Halloween-inspired work, quack medical devices, antiques, skulls and bones, jewelry, clothing, and original art. The Omaha stop at CHI Health Center Omaha also includes sideshow performers on stage and hands-on class options for attendees interested in learning taxidermy or related preservation crafts.
Why go
Oddities & Curiosities Expo - 2026 is a focused stop for collectors, artists, horror fans, and curiosity seekers who want to browse unusual objects in person rather than online. Its mix of independent makers, small businesses, performance, and educational classes gives Omaha visitors more than a standard vendor fair, while keeping the emphasis on the strange, unusual, and bizarre.
Unleash your creativity and curiosity in our Introductory Taxidermy Class! Designed for beginners, this hands-on course offers a fascinating glimpse into the art and science of taxidermy. Class begins promptly at 10am and ends at 4pm. We provide each student with either a skinned, cleaned, and tanned racoon, opossum, or rat hide depending on the workshop you are taking. The first half of class is focused on preparing your form, setting the eyes, test fitting and mounting the hide, as well as grooming. After our first 30-minute break class shifts towards plaque preparation and mounting your project. The class runs for approximately 6 hours with two 30-minute breaks throughout the day.
