Blade Rave - A Vampire Themed Rave - Omaha
Friday, November 20 at The Waiting Room, Omaha
About this event
Sink your teeth into a vampire-themed rave packed with pulsating beats, gothic vibes and creatures of the night. Break out your best undead attire, hit the dance floor and party until you’re ready to retreat from the sunlight.
What to expect
DJs mix goth, techno, house and other EDM styles, with go-go dancers, cosplayers and custom visuals by Dead Eyes Art. There are themed cocktails and limited Blood Bags. A midnight bloodbath is the centerpiece, so anyone near the front may get wet. The "blood" is washable, but a stain is possible. Goth, industrial, steampunk, vampire or superhero looks all fit the dress code.
Why go
The night commits to its theme more fully than most themed parties, with the film's rave scene as the blueprint. The Waiting Room anchors Maple Street in Benson and has hosted touring and local acts since 2007. It has good sound and lighting, a full bar and a wide-open floor. That makes it a natural fit for a costume dance night.
