Saturday, October 31 at The Waiting Room - NE, Omaha
About this event
Emo Nite with special guest appearance Derek DiScanio brings the national emo-and-pop-punk party to The Waiting Room Lounge in Omaha. Emo Nite bills itself as “not a band” and “not DJ’s,” but a party for the music fans love, with this stop adding an appearance from DiScanio, the lead singer of State Champs.
Who's playing
The event is Emo Nite, the touring party built around emo, pop-punk, and scene-adjacent favorites. Derek DiScanio, known as the lead singer of Albany pop-punk band State Champs, is listed as the special guest appearance for this Omaha show at The Waiting Room Lounge.
What to expect
This is more of a communal music party than a traditional concert bill: Emo Nite’s own description emphasizes a shared celebration of the music rather than a standard band set. Expect the night to center on the emo and pop-punk songs that bring the room together, with DiScanio’s appearance adding a direct connection to the modern pop-punk scene.
Why go
For Omaha fans who want a live-room setting without a conventional concert format, Emo Nite at The Waiting Room Lounge offers a scene-focused night built around recognition, nostalgia, and crowd energy. The Derek DiScanio appearance gives State Champs fans an extra reason to pay attention without changing the event’s core identity as an Emo Nite party.
