Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox - The Future Is Vintage World Tour
Saturday, November 14 at The Astro Theater, Omaha
About this event
Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox brings The Future Is Vintage World Tour to The Astro Theater in La Vista, adding a jazz-forward, retro-pop stop to the Omaha-area concert calendar. The project is known for turning modern songs into “Yesterday”-styled arrangements, with a rotating cast of vocalists and musicians moving through vintage popular-music sounds.
Who's playing
Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox is the touring music collective behind this show, with Scott Bradlee’s concept centered on reimagining contemporary pop through older jazz, swing, and classic popular-music styles. The official PMJ site describes its live show as a rotating showcase of singers and retro talent, rather than a fixed band lineup.
What to expect
The Future Is Vintage World Tour leans into PMJ’s signature idea: familiar songs filtered through vintage arrangements and theatrical live performance. At The Astro Theater, the La Vista venue serving the Omaha metro, expect a seated indoor concert built around polished vocals, throwback style, and genre-hopping takes on pop music.
Why go
For Omaha jazz fans and pop listeners alike, Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox offers a different kind of cover-show experience: recognizable material reshaped with old-school textures and a revue-style cast. It is a fit for anyone drawn to vocal performance, vintage aesthetics, and clever arrangements at The Astro Theater.
