The Living Tombstone is the duo of Yoav Landau and Sam Haft, a band that grew out of internet and gaming culture. They play The Astro Theater in La Vista, in the Omaha metro, on a tour that follows a sold-out 2025 world run. Their catalog covers gaming anthems and alternative-leaning songs from the album Rust.
Who's playing
Yoav Landau founded The Living Tombstone as a teenager, writing songs about favorite shows and games, and plays the frontman character zero_one onstage. Sam Haft, a former TV and film writer, joined as songwriter and vocalist. The band has around 9 million YouTube subscribers. Its "Five Nights At Freddy's" song charted on the Dance/Electronic chart and ran over the end credits of the film.
What to expect
A standing general admission floor and a reserved balcony, in an indoor room built for live music. The Astro Theater holds about 2,400 people, so it is big enough for a full production and still close to the stage. Expect a crowd of fans who know the older internet-era songs and the newer material from Rust.
Why go
The Living Tombstone does not tour mid-sized rooms in the Omaha area often. Fans of gaming music get to hear songs they know from YouTube played live by the people who wrote them. The Astro opened in 2023 in La Vista City Centre and has become the metro's go-to theater for acts at this scale.
