What to expect
A concert by the UNO New Music Ensemble, presumably built around contemporary music, in a hall designed for listening. The Strauss concert hall seats 422 and is known for its acoustic isolation and its Casavant organ. A livestream link is available on the event website for those watching from home.
Why go
The Strauss Performing Arts Center hosts more than 200 performances a year, and student and faculty concerts like this one are its everyday work. The building sits on the Dodge Street campus between Criss Library and the Milo Bail Student Center. It is a convenient way to hear what the School of Music is doing with new repertoire.
